WHAT ARE YOUR RESEARCH FEES?

3D Stock Shots does not charge research fees. In fact, there are no charges at all when you call us until we send you a VHS or 3/4" viewing tape of stock footage you have requested for your project.

We can provide you with descriptions of the scenes we have that may match your requirements. Call even if you are not sure exactly what you want or what's available. We're always willing to assist you in the creative process.

Every scene in our library is available for previewing on 3/4" or VHS screening tapes. To easily locate "those shots" you are looking for, each tape is accompanied by a shot list with complete shot descriptions, keyed to each scene by time code. We can provide next day delivery of screening tapes. There is a minimum handling fee of just $50 for most assemblies, and usually we bill shipping charges to your Fed Ex or Airborne account. 3D Stock Shots does not accept credit cards.

A "License Fee" is a release fee granting a limited usage license of the scene(s) you order to be used in a specified production for a specific market during the stated license period. Custom quotes are available if you desire to use the same footage in more than one production, or more than once in the same production, use the production containing our footage in more than one market, or if you would like to license scene(s) in perpetuity. • Pay license, dub and shipping fees.
• Sign the license agreement provided by 3D Stock Shots and return it along with the screening and master tapes.

A "Dub Fee" covers the cost of transferring the shots you order from the master copy to the tape format of your choice. For dub fee rates, please Click Here.

Call us or FAX a purchase order with the screening tape designation, time codes (in and out) of the scenes you would like to order and shot descriptions. You should also specify the desired format for your master (D1, Digi-Beta, Beta-SP, S-VHS, etc.). Upon receipt of payment or faxed verification of payment, we will ship the master elements by your preferred means of shipment. Keep in mind that scenes on shipped master tapes are subject to a 50% kill fee if not used. Delivery time for most masters is 24 hours.

3D Stock Shots requires payment in advance or proof of payment before master elements will be shipped. A legal license agreement will not be issued until payment is received.
