Stereo3D is the next logical step into
reality
With conventional two-dimensional photography,
intimacy, presence and a true sense of reality are very often difficult
to achieve. Standard 2-D visuals are interpreted by the brain as abstracts,
and therefore cataloged as "not-real". However, stereoscopic images
are consistent with what the brain/mind are accustomed to attributing to
waking reality. Since all visual elements are revealed in Stereo3D, the
mind/brain considers them "real events" and processes the information
accordingly. Since abstracts are a lower priority in the mind/brain structure,
(because they aren't related to survival), they're stored in the right-brain
hemisphere. All this technical talk boils down to this:...If the brain receives
images it believes are real, there is a "truthful engagement"
with the viewer.
